Elective: Supply Chain Design and Logistics Operational Management:
Integrating the Sustainment Network

This 3-day course presents the theory and practice of the core enterprise functions that impact supply chain management and the operational logistic support of fielded systems. The course provides a basic understanding of strategy, organizational structure and behavior for an “integrated sustainment enterprise network” based upon its design and operations.

Recent research results from several fields of study such are presented including supply chain management, integrated lean enterprise, and e-logistics. Students also explore new logistics technologies, tools, and application software systems. This course provides the student with the tools and techniques needed to design, operate, and support an effective sustainment enterprise supply chain system.
